I just read Henry Cecil's Much in Evidence, and must say it's good. Involves that thing we call "co-incidence" to make a rather good plot. This is the first book by him that I've read, and I must admit it's quite funny and readable. Recommended.
Don't bother with the Wikipedia entry yet, it's just lifted from the blurb of his book.
Yes, I guess this author isn't well known.
