I'd been hunting for a cheap bicycle computer for my roadbike, but the dealer kept delaying me since he was waiting for his shipment. The (new) LBS had some Sigma BC1600 on sale, and while not exactly cheap, it had cadence! The BC1600 is over 7years old now, and was probably top-of-the-line when it was released. Needless to say, I bought it.
After struggling with the installation (O-rings, problematic wires, shim for the pedal magnet, etc.), it's working fine now. Nice to see that on flats I'm pedalling at almost 95+ RPM.
Should be a small step towards a more aware base training.
Yes, that's one more gadget.

dint the CatEye work?
Oh the Cateye works perfectly, but it's on the mountain bike.
The Sigma is for the road bike.
